This full-time, critical role serves as the official project coordinator, tasked with translating the project’s educational goals into structured, effective digital learning experiences. The researcher will expertly bridge pedagogical theory with technological application, focusing specifically on robust curriculum design and implementation within the EdTech platform.

Postdoctoral Researcher (IDEK Coordinator) in Digital Pedagogy and Educational Technology
Required Background
- PhD Requirement: Must hold a PhD awarded within the last 7 years in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Curriculum and Pedagogy, or Digital Learning Environments. Extensions are considered for relevant leaves.
- Mandatory Status: Must be a Cypriot national and willing to be residing in Cyprus during the contract period.
- Project Leadership: Must be prepared to serve as the official coordinator of the funded IDEK project.
Core Expertise
Candidates must demonstrate deep knowledge and practical application in the following areas:
- Pedagogical Theory & Design: Deep knowledge of diverse learning theories (e.g., constructivism, connectivism) and instructional design models, including the application of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles.
- EdTech Implementation: Proven experience in digital content creation, structuring, and deployment, using modern authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Curriculum Development: Expertise in designing, structuring, and writing pedagogical content and activities (periexomeno) for digital delivery, ensuring alignment with intended learning outcomes and assessment methods in online environments.
- Evaluation & Research: Ability to design and execute studies on pedagogical effectiveness during pilot phases and contribute to academic reports detailing educational impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination & Compliance: Serve as the official project coordinator, overseeing the educational strategy milestones, administrative reporting, and ensuring strict compliance with all RIF/IDEK contractual requirements.
- Curriculum Design Leadership: Lead the design and structure of all educational content and activities for the platform.
- Technical Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison with the Technical Lead (Full-Stack Specialist) to ensure the platform’s features and architecture effectively support the chosen instructional strategies.
- Assessment & Reporting: Oversee the design and implementation of assessment methods within the digital environment and contribute significantly to academic and proposal deliverables related to educational impact.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in writing, structuring, and testing educational modules for scalable digital delivery.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and modern authoring tools (e.g., H5P, Articulate, or similar).
- Strong analytical and academic writing skills in both Greek and English for reporting and dissemination.
