FUNecole® is a sustainable EdTech company dedicated to nurturing expert thinkers. We’re expanding into Europe and the MENA Region and are seeking a dynamic Commercial Manager to drive our growth.
This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, entrepreneurial leader with a strong EDTech background, a passion for education, and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is a perfect fit for a hands-on individual who can both develop and implement strategy while also executing day-to-day operations.
About the Role:
The Commercial Manager will oversee all commercial operations, including sales, marketing, and operations, within our target markets. The role is open to both senior and junior candidates and is crucial for developing and executing our expansion strategy, with clear and ambitious goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial business plan (both sales and marketing) to achieve specific growth targets.
- Oversee all marketing activities to clarify product offerings and execute campaigns.
- Drive sales from lead generation to after-sales support.
- Leverage a definite educational network to identify new business opportunities and forge strong relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients.
- Manage overall commercial operations to meet expansion plans.
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Develop and execute the commercial business plan.
- Conduct market research, stay on top of market trends, and build strategic stakeholder relationships.
- Manage the commercial budget and report on progress directly to the SEO.
Qualifications:
- Proven commercial management experience, with a strong background in the EdTech sector.
- An existing and well-established professional network within the educational community.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.
- A genuine passion for education.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
